I have a 200 323it. A month ago the leaking oil pan gasket was replaced. Now when starting the engine with while warm the oil light comes on in yellow for 15 seconds after starting. After 10 sec. the light goes out. This does not happen with a cold engine. I have replaced the sender switch but it is still happening. Oil pressure is good. Not sure where to go from here
I don't have any definitive answers, but I don't want to see you hanging on your first post here, so regard this as a bump. That said, those oil pressure senders are so cheaply made, it wouldn't be completely out of the realm of possibility that you got a bad one as a replacement.
