2013 M3 E93...observed "oil level too high" when checking after driving for 3o mins. Oil changed approx 1 month ago (1,000 miles) and was perfect every time checking till now. Had thourough OBD ran at local friends euro garage and no faults and engine running perfectly. Unkown if sensor is bad....pushed the reset button on the left stalk and oil level now measures perfect. Checked again next day and still perfect level. Did this fix problem? Or sbould I get to dealer asap?

You reset the measurement values of the oil level by pushing the left stalk. This is normal for you to do every time you want to check your oil level. If it isn't saying over filled any more I would just watch it and make sure it doesn't come back that way. No need to worry though.
