I was wondering if anyone knows of a document, or website, that shows which BMW Factory wheels will fit on other BMW models. For example, the E30 wheels that fit on the 2002 and the E38 M parallels that fit on the E34 M5 etc. I know some others will fit with hub centric rings and some will fit with with wheel spacers as well.

I would have found this very useful when I was looking for winter wheel options. Thanks in advance.

Me too! My E82 135i is on the way, and I want an extra set of 17" for winter tires. With such a new model, there are not a lot of 1 Series wheels floating around yet. I have seen a couple charts on Web sites that show the size and offset specs, but the hot rumor is that the brake calipers on the 135i are bigger, and not all wheels with the right specs will clear them.

    Anybody have info on this?

    Have Fun,

Fitment depends on two things, lug bolt pattern and offsets. I am not sure about fitment, but here is a link to a BMW wheel site: http://crass.on.ru/bmw/wheels/

Hub flange size is also important. I know the E39 has a different hub centric size that is larger than previous BMWs. So if you put E39 wheels on older BMWs the wheels will not be hub centric and you might have vibration issues. Hub centric rings can help.

I don't think that is a complete selection of all BMW wheels. For example, I do not see the E53 X5 sport wheels that resemble the Style 145 wheels. It is a great reference though as it has the P/N for each wheel, offset, tire sizes and P/N for the center caps. Good find....

As a general rule, 4x100 wheels will all interchange. Your only concern will be the offset. They're all 57.1 center bore. For example, I run E30 weaves on my E21 with 20mm spacers.

On 5x120 wheels, you basically have 3 variants. E39 wheels (74.1mm CB), 5x120 low offset (72.56CB) and 5x120 high offset (72.56CB). Again you can make various offsets work with spacers and/or fender rolling, etc. E39 wheels will fit all other 5x120 cars with hubcentric rings (74.1-->72.56). No other 5x120 wheels will fit an E39 without boring out the centers to 74.1mm.

    Hope that helps a bit.
