Anyone ever experience a no start on 328i ?
Put the key in push the start button everything lights up like normal but nothing happens as far as starting even turning over ? A large exclamation point is on the dash ?
I tried battery in key and a new battery in the car

As long as you don't see a red steering wheel (this depends on the year) then I would lean towards a starter issue. The best way to make sure its the starter one is to lightly tap on the starter solenoid while some one try to start the car if the vehicle turns over then you have bad starter. If you do this and still don't get the engine to turn over then you will need to check power going to the starter while cranking. There is a single plug connection on the starter unplug this and check power when cranking is should have 12v if it does starter is bad. If not the CAS is not sending power out for some reason, key issue, EWS.
