   Radio powers on and displays stations bright, but no radio or tape sound. Fuse is ok.

   It may be that one of the wiring harnesses have come loose on the back.
   
   If it's an aftermarket head unit, it may be that all speakers have a common audio ground, which means it could just be one wire that has stopped conducting.
   
   ... Also try turning a knob labeled "Volume" in the clockwise direction; sometimes that helps.
