    Greetings,

I believe I have the correct boxes checked in my options but I have yet to receive any notification email from this forum.

And yes, I've checked my spam filters. :(

    Any help would be appreciated.

I think emails go out only once a day.

I think that is one of the options as well as my choice of "instant" Unfortunately, I haven't rec'd any emails for since I registered. Maybe the electrons also took the Memorial Day holiday off like the Post Office? :D

    They need a better union.

Is this a possible problem with how this forum handles AOL? I've run into that a couple of times before. Seems like the person in charge of the forum had to change one setting on how emails were sent or recognized and then it worked.

This is a test message. Let me know if you get this. when you click on a reply, make sure you have it specified for Email Notifications when you post something. Should be under Notification type when you scroll down.

I should also note that Yahoo and MSN Hotmail are both free and don't require a monthly $ subscription.

South Carolina is a non union state. ;)

I do know with my own forums that sometimes AOL and Netscape block messages from forums thinking it is spam.

I did not receive any notification by email for your post.

I have selected instant email notification.

AOL is also a free service and I prefer it over Yahoo.

I don't have any emails from this forum in my spam folder either. I've had this issue before and it was solved by the administrator changing a setting on how their mail was sent out so AOL would recognize it. I don't know what that setting is. I can contact the other person who ran the forum where I had the problem and see if he remembers. It was several years ago. How do you make your other forums work with AOL and Netscape?

    Working with AOL

What makes you think our other forums work any better?!

    :D

Kidding, I'm kidding. I'll go back to work now. . .

Ditto on the no email notices. I use Outlook Express pulling email via Pop3. I'm running a Wintel machine, XP Pro, SP3, PCCillin for A-V.

E-mail notifications stopped about 2 weeks ago. I sent an e-mail to the webmaster about this, but I never got a reply.

I don't get e-mail notifications from this board again. I've gone into my profile, (can't find my e-mail address location there, but I've not changed e-mail), and instant e-mail notification is selected, but nothing is coming across.

Am I the only one with this issue?

Still none for me. I have been off the forum for a while and didn't know I had 5 unanswered PMs. Now everyone must think I am a jerk (or dead!)

Is there anyone even looking at this problem?
