I live in Porter Ranch/Northridge, CA. Just added a '94 740iL with 69,000 miles to the garage. I acquired this sled from my 85 year old Godmother in Ventura, CA. She hasn’t driven it in ten years. It has never spent a night out under the stars and rarely, if ever, ventured beyond the San Fernando Valley or Santa Barbara. It’s a real time capsule that even has the original phone, (with cord) in the center console and all the tools in the kit in the trunk. There’s not a ding or chip on it and the gold paint looks like it was applied yesterday. After a once-over for fresh fluids and a check of all systems it hit the road to the smog test station and passed with straight A’s! I took it for a spirited run yesterday afternoon and let it see speeds above 60 MPH for the first time in its life. It loved it and wanted more. This is a rock solid teutonic sled that hopefully has hundreds of thousands more miles left to travel.
