    Hi,

I have a 2006 330i sedan which had the radio head unit replaced with an updated unit that has the chrome rings around the knobs. Does anyone happen to know the significance of the car symbol which occasionally shows up next to the signal bars? I have the BMW Assist system with bluetooth installed. I've owned two other BMWs and have never seen this symbol. I cannot find it in my owner's manual. Looks like a car icon with what appears to be a signal coming out of the back.

    Thanks

It would help if you took a picture of it.

Is it a "car" or a "phone" laying down on its side? Mine has the "phone" when the car finds my bluetooth phone to pair. The signal bars is the signal strength the bluetooth phone is receiving.
