Just bought my first BMW at age 68. Very much enjoying my 2018 530i x-drive. My brother has been a BMW CCA member for 34 years, which is my target!
I've signed up for the golf event in late June with the National Capital Chapter. Looking forward to meeting new people and new cars. As of now I'm booked as a single participant.
interesting story... I was at my optometrist's office the other day. An unknown gentleman walked in, looked at me, and said, "Is that your BMW parked outside?" Concerned, I followed him out the door and he said "we have the same car!" Indeed it was an exact match except for seat color. He went on to explain that he previously owned an Infiniti dealership, but had recently retired and sold the business. He just bought his first BMW and was quite impressed by the performance and technology. Makes me even happier about my decision!
