The E30 is my retirement hobby. I sold this car sometime in 2003 to a friend at work just after I had bought the E36. In May of 2013 I bought it back after needling the owner/friend for letting it sit in his driveway for several years. It was a great car when I sold it to him, not so much when I bought it back at 162780 miles. It has been neglected though and sat all those years in the punishing Florida weather. The paint is beyond bringing back but there is very little rust but I am not too concerned about that right not but am directing my efforts at bringing it back mechanically. It runs pretty good thanks to my local independent BMW shop who I had it towed to at the time of repurchase. Now I am beginning to repair things myself (first effort: replace rear CV half shafts). I could go on and on but will spare you.
