Good morning everyone, my name is Justin and I just recently joined the BMWCCA. I have a 1998 Cosmos/Dove M3 Cabrio 5MT that I purchased in North Carolina last July with 72k/miles. I wasn't looking for a convertible but when I found this car with the low miles and complete history since new, it was too good to pass up. It is my daily driver and since the day I purchased it she has given me 16,000 trouble free miles. Look forward to meeting some of you at future events.
No. I just had a new pair of Continental's put on the rear the day before and I try not to tear up my tires too bad.
Yes I did! I couldn't justify spending another $60 per tire for Pilot Super Sports, though they are a great tire, it's a stock e36M and isn't putting that much power to the rear wheels, plus I wanted to keep it a matching set. VERY happy with the XC DWS's though.
Haha....you guys must get a lot of "I got the Nankangs because it's all I could afford" comments here. For me, tires and suspension (which I'm planning on changing soon) are the most important things to not cheap out on. Oh AND lighting....I swapped out the terrible stock headlights for a set of the DJ Auto euro headlights with a 4300k HID kit and it made a HUGE difference.
