Hello, Just joined tonight, after taking delivery of a locally driven 2007 525i. It's been awhile since owning my last BMW, a 79 528i. But have always admired the vehicle lineup. I have a quick question ; previous owner couldn't tell me why portions of interior seats and door panels are covered in what I describe as NFL pigskin (or NBA basketball). Looks similar in color...... not real stiff, but just interested. SLAINTE'
Welcome to the club! Can't tell you a thing about what interior you may have going on there (sorry!) - Find the website for your local chapter, following up w/ contacts (or local msg. forums, presuming your chapter has boards going) is your best bet to get a local shop/mechanic recommendation.
