Hey y'all, New to the CCA here, although not (completely) new to BMWs. My mom has had 3-series sedans since the early-90s, and I used to borrow them at every opportunity. LOL I've also been lucky enough to get a chance to drive a number of M5s, an M-technic, and a 540i Sport. What's been calling me, though, like a siren song in the night, is the M cars. M3, M5, *shiver* M6, and *drool* M1. If it's got an M in the name, well, I lust a bit after it. Anyway, long story short, following a wreck on Memorial Day (#@$#% Mercedes drivers) I found myself in need of a new daily driver. Was actually looking for a truck when (OMG) I found an M3 at an amazing price up in Dallas. Did some research, found out it was incredibly well-maintained at BMW of Dallas, the paint and interior in great shape. So, a bit of haggling later, strong arming (okay, begging) my insurance company to finally pay me, and selling my other car (an old convertible, it was great, but highly impractical as a daily driver) later, I'm now the owner of a beautiful M3. Build date 9/2002, 2003 M3 Convertible, SMG-II, TiAg, Grey interior, Dinan exhaust. I LOVE IT!! Can't wait to meet some other CCA members.
Nice! That is so much better then a truck! In my area it's trucks and Buik's that are the bane of the road... Anyways welcome to the club! Your going to like it here!
