I have owned a 1984 325e 1988 735I in the past. We currently own a 2005 Z4 purchased new. We have had 3 recalls and 1 customer satisfaction action due to a faulty passenger seat air bag mat sensor. I have just ordered a 328I xdrive coupe. I was going to purchase but instead opted to lease in case we have any major issues with the vehicle. My only options are atlantic blue mettalic paint and heated seats. No dipstick and run flats made me hesitant but hey what else can compare to the ultimate driving machine.
Hi Michael. When I first saw the e46, I was in love. But I never purchased it. Last year I bought an '06 325i. Downfall was that it was an auto. And then I just couldn't come to grips with not having a dipstick and having the car be too dependent on software. (But then again, I never go to dealerships for maintenance/issues. Luckily I married someone who works on anything with a motor.) Being attracted to more basic vehicles I purchased an e30. Do you still have yours? But most people get over the lack of dipstick, and you can change out your RFTs. But you'll have to give up a good amount of your trunk space to place the spare there.
Hi missmelyssa sadly i do not have my 325e anymore it met an untimley death but we did enjoy it for 195000 miles with no major repairs if only they still made them like that. they are getting harder to find ilooked for about 6 months and gave up. if i were to change the run flats i would more than likely go with a space saver so it would not take up to much space.enjoy your car it looks nice.
