Well, it only took me 24 years to purchase my first BMW, but I finally did it!! I was hooked after sitting in one when I was 17. I got my f30 335i a week ago after waiting 3 months for the ordered vehicle to arrive at the Chicago dealership. It was a great drive back to MT, and even averaged 32 mpg on the 19 hr drive!
Congrats! My first exposure to BMW was 1971 in St Louis when I was in HS. My dad would take me to the car dealerships on Saturdays, and we got to test drive a 3.0L "5-series" sedan with manual tranny, and I'll never forget how silky smooth the inline six rev'ved! When I got my first BMW in 2006, that old sensation of smooth rev'ving engines had not changed a bit!
I got the luxury model. Although the wheels take more time to clean, I liked the looks of the wheels in combination with the dark interior I got. So far over the past few weeks, I have really enjoyed driving it.
