    Hello All,

Not sure if this is right on the topic, but i am in need to rent black 750li or 760li for one day with or without driver. After long searches on the web, i am unable to find any company that has one in the area that i need it. I am trying to use it for the wedding day. It is one year away, so i hope i will find someone that can point me in right direction or someone who can actually let me use their vehicle for a fee. I do not want a limo, i just want a 750li or 760li in black/black. Of course if someone wants to drive us in it, is going to be even better.

    Location: Asheville, NC
    Approx. time: 10am-5pm
    When: November 11, 2011
    Approximate mileage: 100 miles

If someone knows where i can reserve one, please advise.
If someone wants to make some cash to drive me and my future wife around, also let me know.

Reply via Private message please and post some stats of your car.

Was spamming multiple boards really necessary?

I assure you, everyone saw your thread the first time. Why were you worried we lost our ability to read after the first post?

NNM, sorry I don't have any info for you, hopefully somebody will. By the way, welcome to the forums! Since the forums are setup to allow one to easily see new posts, most here, and quite likely the most active ones here, will see any new post that comes up, so double-posting identical messages is not necessary. Don't let Weir here scare ya off, you'll find most of us around here welcoming of any new participants - good luck with finding some kind of sweet ride for you & your fiancé's wedding day, and congrats on your nuptials in the coming year!

Perhaps one your local chapters has a member that owns one. Have you asked on their chapter forums?

There's gotta be a rental "agency" somewhere that rents exotic and luxury automobiles. You will pay through the nose, obviously, for this "privilege". But hey, it's your wedding day and you only wed once (hopefully ;)!), so shoot the works!

Asheville is really nice by the by, if you haven't been before. Check out the Biltmore mansion.

Unfortunately, Triangle Chapter (NC) does not even have a forum.
I have already emailed all board members also.
Already asked local dealer in Asheville, they laughed at my request...

I have been, it is very nice.
Unfortunately, there isn't any rental agencies near Asheville with such a car.

    Still looking...

Why not be bold and go straight to the source? BMW AG recently launched a service called BMW On Demand (link; also here) that targets customers in precisely your situation: People who want use of a specific model for a short time.

Trouble is, the pilot program is only available at BMW Welt in Munich--but what the heck, maybe you could talk them into trying it in the US, with you as the first customer. Asheville is only about 70 miles from the BMW facilities in Greer/Spartanburg, SC...in your shoes, I would try knocking on doors down there and see if I could drum up any interest. I mean that literally: Drive down for a day, visit the museum, take a factory tour, ask questions, press (politely) for additional contacts you might speak with (after the inevitable "no"), etc.

Or start at the top and call BMW NA's Customer Relations line: 1-800-831-1117. Maybe you can convince them your wedding is good material for an ad campaign. Get creative!

Unless you're so pushy that they escort you off the grounds, all they can do is say "no." :)

Have you ever stayed at the Black Walnut Inn? GREAT B n B!! Their afternoon "tea" (@3 pm) service features 2 or 3 wines from wineries in the area and some of the most amazing homemade desserts you will ever taste! :D. The owner was formerly a baker and his wife was a chef...so you can imagine how great the food is. Awesome place for a wedding night.

Grove Park Inn is another neat place to visit (and stay). http://www.groveparkinn.com/Leisure/

Supposedly haunted by the "Pink Lady", if memory serves...::)
