I just bought a 2000 Z3M roadster to replace my 1996 roadster that was totaled by a woman in a Silverado. In getting used to some of the new and improved features, I came across a mystery button and red LED that are not mentioned in the owner's manual. They're down low, just to the right of the steering column. The view is normally blocked by the steering wheel airbag. Anybody know what these are?
That is the glass break detector connected to the alarm system, along with the red alarm active indication light.
