    Hello all,
I have a question about two buttons on my steering wheel. I have an '05 325i, and on the wheel there is a button that says "R/T" and then another one that has a silhouette of a head with sound waves coming from the mouth.
I've looked though every piece of the owners manual and I can't find these anywhere. Can someone explain what they do, and how I can use them?

    Thank you!

    I have a 2002 e25ci and i also have these buttons.
The reason for the buttons is to be used with the BMW cell phone system. Now there is a company that makes a system that you can install and make your car bluetooth compatible so you can use your bluetooth cell phone on it. It seems like a great system since it connects to all the factory harness. I have not tried it out, but i am interessted in anyone who has this installed and also if it is available from BMW.

I hope that helps you out.

    Thanks Rene

Yes that helps a lot... I suspected it was something to do with connecting a phone. I'll look into setting it up.
