After I replaced the battery in my '99 323ci, the stock radio/cassette player now requires a five-digit code, which the previous owner didn't provide. Is there any way for me to deal with this myself, or must I take the car to a dealer?
If you have an owner's manual packet, look through that - if not, I'd think a dealer should be able to get you unlocked quickly and then you'll have the code for future reference.
