    Hi all,

After replacing my engine with a used engine from California, I am left with my old engine on the stand in my garage - waiting to be rebuilt. Right now I have the head off and looking for a machine shop to do a valve job-check for flatness-check for cracks?

Any recommendations in the Minneapolis area, or should I send this thing out of state?

Open your phone book and find a machine shop. There is one in just about every town.

Hey - great idea? why didn't I think of that.

Does anybody have a recommendation for a machine shop that has worked on BMW's? I called the local bmw shop and they said they could not recommend anyone in the area.
