I just replaced the vanos unit on my 2004 330 convert. The gasket kit came with the spark plug sections. However, there were none on the cover when I took it off and when I attempeted to place them on the cover it would not seat properly. Am I missing something here? Did they change the construction somewhere along the line to eliminate the need for the spark plug seals and just keep the same kit?
