Hi, I have a 2002 M3 CIC with 40k miles. I have standard 18 inch OEM wheels and Conti tires on it. I bought the car about 2 years ago with 24k miles on it. I have been experiencing some steering wheel shake during quicker than normal (but not hard) turns on rough roads (New Jersey roads). It happens in both directions. It is amplified whenever the tire pressure is below 30 psi in front. I did have work done to the plastic (bushings?) components (spent about 1k on front and rear) about 6 months ago due to dry rotting. It helped but did not entirely eliminate it. I had a BMW tech check out the shocks on the vehicle and found no problems. I try to keep my tire pressure around 34 psi front and 36 psi rear. It does happen on rough surfaces going straight but very unnoticeable. My question... Is this normal behavior of an M3?
