I own an e36 M3 1998. I am looking for a good mechanic in Dallas that knows high performance vehicles and does not charge an arm and a leg per hour. I was going to a mechanic that will remain unnamed and they are charging $110/hour. In talking with a good friend in Austin, TX who is also an instructor for thedriversedge (so he knows what he's talking about) he told me that his mechanic in Austin charges around $75 per hour. According to my friend this mechanic has installed all sorts of advanced/race equipment on his car and done a great job. Can you recommend similar in Dallas or even Ft Worth area?

Bought parts and used them for service. Quick, clean, fair price.

    Good Mechanic in D/FW Area

I recommend Trent Cole's Lone Star Bavarian in Fort Worth (near I-30 at Montgomery). Phone number is 817 732-4888, website lonestarbavarian dot com. He has factory trained tech on staff, and reasonable prices. Trent is also Tech Svc Advisor for the Lone Star Chapter of the club.
