I have a 2008 335i with the logic 7 sound system installed. I'm going to be kind here trying to say that I am not a fan of this system. It sounds terrible with Satellite radio. Anyone have any fixes for this?
How does it sound with a decent sound source such as a CD? Sat radio is not of high enough quality to really judge.
You can tweak the equalizer to make it pleasing to your particular ears. BTW, what other system are you comparing it to?
Logic 7 Help I am a music engineer so this might help. I have not heard a 2008 system except in a new M3 with the premium Logic sound system and it was quite good for a car, the Acura ELS does sound a little better. Try this: Tone Controls: BASS Flat; TREBLE up about 5-6 bars depending on taste; On the Graphic EQ: 100hz Flat or +1 depending on taste 200hz +1 1Khz +1 2Khz +2 5Khz +3 10khz +4 or 5 All SURROUND OFF (Unless you really like the effects) This is all playing CD's I do not listen or know how the radios sound but I assume not great to much compression. The system is a little dark but has good power and dynamics you just have to open it up a bit. Hope this helps
Logic 7 system I have this system in my 06 330i Sport and it's the best I've heard..even better than the ELS system in my mother-in-law's 07 MDX. I agree with Herb..a little extra volume makes a difference. By the way..thanx Herb for the equalizer settings!
