The story goes... Going up a hill the driving instructor told the timid student to "Put it into passing gear". Not quite knowing what he was doing, the student looked down at the shifter and promptly put the car into park. After the noise, smoke, and dust settled the instructor ask the student, "What the h%#9 did you do that for"? The student replied, "Well you told me to put into passing gear, isn't that what the P is for"?
