I have a 2006 330ci E46 and I can only get one sound/beep out of my car using the key fob when locking/unlocking. Is that normal? I am used to cars that beep every time you click the fob -- easier to find my car in the parking lot. In addition, I practically have to be standing next to her. I know that function was common in 2006. Thoughts?
Do you get a beep when locking and one when unlocking? The key could be getting weak, would have to test the radio signal transmission from the key to judge the distance.
