I connect my ipod nano to my 2011 335d with Nav and all of a sudden it stopped working. The ipod screen turns white and says it is connected but the interface on the screen does not show the music and won't play. Any ideas why this would work one day and then stop working, I changed out the cable and still have the same problenm. Thank you.

Are you using the apple white cable?

No, I was using a third party cable for months and it has worked fine. I did test it with the white Apple cable when the problem started and that did not work either. Do you think it is a cable issue?

I have had a lot of issues with third party cables I always recommend to use the apple cable. Have you tried it with a different iPod or phone? Also can you look at your setting menu and at the bottom of the menu does it have the option for software update?

Charlson89- Thank yo for your help. I have not tried it with another device yet. I will do that next.
When you say setting menu do you mean on the main menu in my car?

Yes from the main screen on your Idrive the last option should be the setting menu.
