Does anybody know whether there is a Y cable or adapter that would allow me to use an iPhone 5S in my 2007 335i coupe - accessing a music library and using it as an auxiliary input? The cable that came with the car has the 30 pin plug, which worked with my iPod and 4S phone, whereas the 5S has the small 8 pin plug. The BMW snap-in iPhone console adapter doesn't fit, and doesn't work with the 8 pin plug.
There is a new snap in adapter for the iphone 5. There is no new cable for the iphone 5 you can use the apple adapter for 19 pin to the 30 pin and all should work normally.
