Good day fellow members! I just joined the club having recently purchased a '91 325 i through BAT. A beautiful car, my fourth BMW. The prior owner had mentioned the left turn signal would not self cancel. That is not a big deal. However, when I use the left turn signal, sometimes the indicator flashes in normal fashion and other times it flashes rapidly indicating a bulb failure. I have inspected and cleaned both the bulbs and the sockets but to no avail. The bulbs front and rear are good. So what should I investigate next for this intermittent failure? Also, while on the subject, what should I investigate for the failure of the left turn directional to self cancel? The right turn self cancel works as it should.
BTW, after an '86 524 TD, '99 328, '07 M3, and an '09 335D, I think this 325i is the best of all of them and with 167K on the clock!
