A 1/8 wide LED indicator illuminates red when I park and stop my 2009 335i. (Automatic, center console, shifter indicator, park position). It goes out after about 1 Hr. What does it mean?
That sounds normal to me (if you are talking about the Park position LED on the gear shift console). It lights up when you unlock the car or touch the door handle, and stays on for quite some time after the car is switched off.
Park indicator Service Technician told me that the light stays red until 335i enters "sleep" mode. Kevin
