iDrive Failure

    Just took delivery of a 2013 535Xi November 29th. All was well until December 23rd when the iDrive went into a perpetual reboot cycle. Car has been at the dealership since 12-24 with no fix in sight. I am soooo disappointed and feel as though the service department is showing no sense of urgency. Meanwhile I'm relagated to a 328 that sounds like a Yugo. Very unhappy

    Sorry to hear that - certainly disappointing to suffer that kind of failure so early on; bad timing too, even if you have the best available working on it locally, they may not have access to the national support personnel until after the holidays that might help resolve the issue. At least, let your dealership folks know your disappointment, and BMW N.A. customer service as well, even though they may not be able to do anything other than offer an apology in addition to fixing the issue.
