The part itself (64-11-9-135-744) was $500.98; the rest is a lot labor for removing the dash to repalce teh leaking evaporator and put in the new one. I had it repaired at the dealer, but I will have to hire an independent repair shop if I want to keep this car, a 2001 300i which I still loove by the way.
