Just wanted to let those in the Texas area know that the Houston Chapter will be hosting a Roger Johnson autox course design school for those that might be interested in designing courses for Houston or other chapters. Roger Johnson is a nationally recognized resource for autocross events, course design and safety, and regularly designs the course for the SCCA National events. The half day class will be on 6/26. Exact time and location (in Houston) have not been finalized, but if you are interested in attending the half day class please send an e-mail to: autocross-coordinators@houston-bmwcca.com Link on Houston website. http://www.houston-bmwcca.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1981
I'll echo that what Roger designs in courses and teaches on how to make a good course is fantastic. His courses are always fun, they may have a "gotcha" that might be visual or really makes you think about how you can go through a course. If you can get to the seminar, do it, as it is well worth it.
Just a reminder about the school next weekend. Send an e-mail to the address above if your interested,
