Hotel Room Thursday, Friday, Saturday Before O'Fest?

I'm trying to find a hotel room, or split one with someone for the Thursday, Friday and Saturday (15th, 16th, 17th) before Oktoberfest. Sunday I move to the Hilton where I have a room for the week.

Any comments on independent hotels that still have rooms, or someone looking for a roommate?

Non-smoker, with dubious references, flying in from Illinois.

Too bad, I had reservations at the Marriott Monterey from Thursday through Sunday that were available because I was able to find other, cheaper (free) lodging. I posted them here but I cancelled the reservation because I didn't get any response.
