HELP E46 brake sensor

    Hey I just had front brakes put on my car (2001 330ci) Friday and the sensor was changed aslo But my brake pad sensor light is still on back brakes are fine and brake fluid is at proper level, the shop is gonna charge me if they put another sensor on....is there anything that can be done to reset that light.......HELP, that light is annoying.

    Turn the key onto the accessory position (#2) and leave it there for about 30 seconds. The light should reset.

    There is a possibility that the pad sensor can be defective but if they shop supplied the sensor then it should be covered under warranty. If you supplied the sensor then it makes sense if they charge you to put in a new one.
