Recently purchased a very clean and well maintained 2000 Z3 with 77.100 miles. Original owners (whom I have known for several years) report that it's never been in snow and they only got caught in one rain storm. They kept it garaged and under a fitted BMW cover during the off season. May be popping in with some questions as I get to know it. First BMW car but I've owned a '97 R1100RT since 1999.

Great little car. right? Bought a 2000 Z3 roadster, Impala Brown, with short miles. Like yours, no snow and damn little rain. I keep it garaged (other newer vehicles whine a lot). I replaced the rear window last summer after it began to come loose. I was unhappy to learn I can do track days unless I install a roll bar, altho I guess I understand it. Car ran like a train until this week when the DME (main computer) went kaput. I'm looking for info on a used DME
