Hey all - this is a problem that will hopefully diminish with the seasonal change (even here in southern Cal), but I've noticed that on hot days, especially after having sat in the sun, my 2000 328i instrument cluster and A/C don't turn on right away. It may take as long as 5-10 minutes when the car is moving for these to pop on, presumably because moving air is cooling something down (?). Any ideas on how to diagnose this problem, for example whether something in the passenger vs. engine compartment is faulty?

    Thanks!
    Paul
