I have a hardtop for my e30 Convertible. What do you use on the top to clean it and preserve it? Thanks

It's painted isn't it? I don't know anyone who has one, but I'd guess just the same as protecting your car's paint; wash with non-abrasive liquid car-washing soap/cleanser, wax it, etc. Griot's Garage has a broad line of products, Zymol is another, to name a couple. Afficionados, purists, devotees, and fanatics may all have their own preferences & recommendations, you can see some of those threads in the Detailing sub-forum for more.

    See https://www.bmwcca.org/forum/index.php?forums/detailing.109/

If you're asking about how to care for the soft convertible top, no experience there so sorry I have no specific suggestions; you could search the 'CCA forums, other forums, or google for what folks have done.
