I've recently joined CCA and very much look forward to the advice/eduction from the forums. Have been a roadster fan for many years and restored a few historic models.
My recent purchase is a '07 M roadster which I am really enjoying - the weather here is just starting to cooperate.
    Here are a few photos.

    A proper tranny?

Um. . . Brother Grain? I think you might find out there ain't exactly a choice of transmixers in an E85 M roadster. . .

Welcome to the looney bin! That's a gorgeous roadster...when you have a few minutes, explain to Satch what a "folding top" is and why it's useful. He's from SoCal and they only have two kinds of weather out there: "Sunny" and "night." :)

    welcome aboard

I have a 2000 M Roadster and enjoy the heck out of it (when I can drive it -- I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan). One caution, they ain't cheap to maintain - a friend with an older Porsche told me to count on about $1K - $2K a year in repairs maintenance BESIDES the normal old school care.

    Enjoy your toy.

    SoSoCal seasons

    . . . and the top stays down for both. . .

HOWEVER: I do admit to putting it up sometimes when I park the car. That gives me the opportunity to LOWER THE TOP WITH THE REMOTE as I stroll nonchalantly toward the car. . . the Germans call this the Biergarten mode.

On June 3rd, the NJ chapter is co-hosting an open house with the good people of the Deutscher Club of Clark, NJ at their real! actual! authentic! biergarten--feel free to stop by and demonstrate! :D The party starts at 5:30pm but you might want to leave before Memorial Day to beat the traffic. :D:eek::D
