Just acquired my first BMW car- 2003 Z4( rode BMW motorcycles in the '70s). Doing some work to repair front bumper cover and lower engine shield. So far we are enjoying the car. Looking forward to some road trips.

Welcome to the asylum! Of course, I am rather biased toward your choice of BMW!

Thanks for the welcome. Bought the Z4 used. Original owner had kept it for 57k miles. Somewhere between them and me, it was slightly abused. Front bumper cover, undershield, and such. Got the new bumper cover (being painted) and decided to retrofit fog lamps. New switch is in and managed to contort enough to get the fog lamp relay installed. Wife had to help me out of floorboard. Found out courtesy lights had been removed on both sides. Going to try led kits. Then it is off to reset the computer.

Well, your timing is great. You'll be ready to head for Ohio by September!

Funny how at a certain age its very difficult to lie on a floor board and twist around to work under the dash. I thought it was only me who couldn't get back up after about 10 minutes under there! Now I know Gunslinger is right there with me.
