The Green Mountain Chapter | BMW Car Club of America Come Join us at the Manchester Antique & Classic Car Show Presented by Land Rover Experience Manchester, Vermont Date: June 13 & 14 (our event is Sat, but the show is all weekend) Time: 9-4pm Registration may be done on line and the show will begin setting up on Friday June 12. Gates are open to the public on Saturday & Sunday from 9-4 and a BBQ and barn dance are scheduled for Saturday evening for entrants etc. All registration details are very well explained on the web site http://www.manchestercarshow.com Member parking corral We have selected an area designated for BMWCCA GMC member parking. There is some rumor about a Mercedes club looking to come and make their presence known so we are hoping we can muster enough members to come on down and show them which club rules the day! Covered bridge tour On Saturday at approximately 3:30 pm we will embark on a short drive to see 5 covered bridges In the area. They are located in East Arlington, west Arlington, Bennington and North Bennington. This should conclude by 6 pm. BMWCCA Dinner at Bistro Henry in Manchester. (Saturday night) With enough interest Bistro henry is willing to provide a room for the club to have dinner. For $35 per person plus tax and gratuity he would be happy to give us an appetizer sampler served family style, salad and then a choice of one Entree from a special menu with 4 to 6 items. Henry would like an idea of how many will attend so we need a head count by June 11th. Members can RSVP to Bistro Henry at (802) 362-4982 by Thursday June 11th. Barn dance (Saturday Night) After dinner at Bistro Henry, members can shake their groove things (yeah, yeah!) at the barn dance located back on the show grounds. 7PM START. BMWCCA Dinner at Bistro henry The Menu at bistro henry will include the following items Appetizers Main crab cakes with spicy remoulade sauce Shezsuan pork dumplings with spicy peanut sauce Duck spring rolls served with house made duck sauce Tomato and locally produced fresh mozzarella All Apps will be served family style. Entrees Steak Au poivre-buttom butt sirloin with crushed black pepper Steak frites- served with henry's hand cut, double fried French fries Chicken franchaise- breast of chicken with lemon/spinach over pasta Pork schnitzel Spinach ravioli in marinara sauce, finished with smoke mozzarella Fish of the day (to be determined by the market) Dessert Fruit crisp a la mode Cheesecake with fresh strawberries.
