I moved to Tennessee where front license plates are not used. I'd like to replace the license plate holder with a rubber insert in the front bumper. I've seen one in an older BMP Design catalog, but they no longer carry it. Anyone know where I can get one? I've got a 1987 325i Cabrio. Thanks!
It might be NLA (No Longer Available). I tired to find it on www.realoem.com and couldn't. They might be able to get it for you.
BMW didn't offer the filler strip for US cars. BMP & BavAuto had one. You can use a piece of rear bumper rubber, cut to fit & rubber cement it into place.
