Just made my first foray into the European car world with the purchase of a new to me 2015 M235i Cabriolet. Mineral White - Moonlight Black Top - Black Dakota Leather - Cold Weather Package - Driver Assistance Package - Premium Package - Technology Package. Only 41K Miles. After years of owning hotrods owning a European car is something I never thought I would have done. However, life changes and so do you. With my wife now retired, my mom going into hospice then passing away in March and then our first granddaughter arriving May 5th having that hot rod third car for just rod runs and weekends just no longer made sense. I've only had the BMW a week, but already loving it. My wife enven asked me if I wanted to go for a drive Sunday afternoon and I could count on two hands the number of times she rode in my 48 Plymouth coupe, 37 Plymouth coupe or 32 Ford roadster combined over about a 15 year period. Was a bit dissapointed after paying my memberhsip fee when I looked at my local chapter Sunshine Bimmers out of Orlando website. The latest Club News is dated Nov. 2022, the latest Newsletter is July 2019 and the latest Presidents Message is Jan 2020. Makes me wonder if I joined a dead chapter and question what I spent my $58 on. At least I only signed up for a year.
