Well, after owning several BMW's and MINI's over the last five years, I finally joined the club! I don't know why I waited so long. Partly because I am in BMW/MINI sales at a store here in Pittsburgh and never thought about the discounts or tech help etc. since I had all I needed right here. I know there are many more benefits and i am looking forward to taking full advantage! My wife is signed up as well. I am blessed to have a wife who loves all things motorsports as much as I do. We are huge F1 fans and have attened the US Grand Prix the last three years it was here, and attened the US motoGP that took its place at Indy last year. Sad to see it go, but being a motorcyclist and huge motoGP fan, I wasn't too bummed! I just returned from the ///M performance driving school last nite, which is a big part of why I am signing up on reccomendation of some members and the instructors. It is an awesome event! One of my co-workers bought an ///M6 and since it is included with his purchase, we took full advantage. I want to go back now for the 2 day and definitely take my wife this time. It is so beneficial to anyone who enjoys motor sport. Our love for BMW's together pre-dates our first one, but when we finally could put one in our garage, we never looked back. When we started dating, she drove a 325bhp SVT Cobra Mustang with a 5spd. I was already in love! We traded that in on our first, a 99 E46 323i. Not quite the dragster the Cobra was, but better in every other way. As we started life together we went through cars pretty quickly since my job allows me to it with no real financial loss. From there we went to MINI's since they are my main priority here at the store. From that 3 we went to an 06 Cooper, then to an 06 Cooper S. While I had the S, I bought the E36 328i. Sold the S and thats where the current toys started. We kept the E36, leased the 07 X3 and then I stumbled into the deal of the century on our 08 535i! Sorry for the novel, but after yesterdays event at the performance center, I've felt the need to scream to the rafters about our love for these cars. Looking forward to learning more and more!!! Cheers! theCarrs
