I purchased a low mile pre-owned 535xi from a southern MB dealer who took the car in on trade. I had the local BMW dealer do a pre-purchase inspection where everything checked out. After trucking the car home, I was surprised to find nothing more than a tow bolt in the trunk lid, ie no tools or first aid kit. Can I assume they were pilfered somewhere along the line or is BMW cutting back on the items that used to be included in every new BMW ?
Most BMW's now only come with a tow hook and multi use screw driver. No longer do they come with first aid kit. Not sure if you can still order a kit or not through BMW.
I purchased both a First Aid Kit, a Toolkit and a Reflector Triangle from my local dealer BMW of Austin.
