I have a 2023 BMW X1 and I was wondering if anyone knows anything about extended coverage options and pricing after the car is three years old. My car is quirky and has been in the dealer for stupid stuff that I’m sure would have been costly if these issues occurred after the car is 3 years old. Thanks Mike
Are you sure the stupid stuff would have been covered under an extended warranty? Looks like your car is still new enough for https://www.bmwusa.com/financial-services/protection-program.html. I don't know what I'd do. Are you planning on keeping the car for a long time? My experience with an extended warranty on our Mini was it only needed a fuel pump. So basically it was a $3000 fuel pump.
