need to enter "pauses" in numbers that have passwords and extensions (voicemail for example). After getting the combox upgrade for my 2010 650i, I discovered that the phonebook would no longer accept "pauses" in phone numbers. I could enter them on my phone, but they would be stripped off when I tried to dial them through the idrive.

After trying several times I finally got it to work. [IMG]Enter the number on the idrive dial pad. You will notice on the dial pad that the numbers have letters under them just like you telephone. When you want to enter a pause, do a long push on the idrive controller on the number "7" to enter a "p". I found that the idrive will read the "p" as a pause. I did not try the "w" for wait but I suspect that it may work the same.[IMG]
