When I park my '09 328i xDrive and walk away I can hear a high pitched whine for a minute or so. I know this is minor my curiousity is driving me crazy. Can anyone explain this? And Yes... I did have my head examined as suggested by my wife....
I hear it too... Yes, I hear that sound too so you are not going crazy. I have Comfort Access and hear that noise when entering and after locking the vehicle. I think it may have something to do with the pathway lights under the door handles - not sure.
If you listen VERY closely you will hear that it is whispering to you in German ... Mine usually says, "You were too wide on that last apex, dumbkopf ..." OR it might be the check valves depressurizing the fuel lines the auto-adjusting lights returning to neutral the climate system shutting off the electric water pump turning off I really don't know - the car is smarter than I am.
