Can someone give me a tip on how to replace the bulb to the tail gate lamp/hazard light ?? Typically there is a notch to pry the lense off with a small screw driver- not here. The other option is to remove the rear panel(s) which seems excessive. Advice appreciated.
There is no information in the owners manuel regarding the replacement of this specific 10watt cylindrical bulb. The "L" shape cover to the bulb is white on one side and red on the other. The parts department at my local dealership was able to sell me the replacement bulb but could not provide installation information. The service dept wanted to charge $50 to replace the bulb ($50 deductable on CPO cars for items such as bulbs that are not covered).
Problem solved. I very gently pryed the lense off with a small screw driver,replaced the bulb and snapped it back in.
