Replaced the rear rotors and pads on my 2005 530i today. There are decent instructions at 5 series Forum http://www.5series.net/ How to reset the service indicators. http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=133613 Pelican Parts has decent general instructions. If you have done this befor it is not a big deal. I had to really bang (rubber mallet) ( about 100 blows) on the back side of the rotor while intermittantly turning the rotor to get it to come off. I was surprised at where the fluid resevoir was. It is underneath the microfilter chamber. You have to remove the cover and filet and then remove the bottom part of the chamber to find it.
